　ちょっと質問です。

How do most Filipinos learn English?

At what age do most Filipinos start speaking English?

多くのフィリピンの人たちは、どんなふうに英語を学ぶのですか？

たいていのフィリピン人は何歳くらいから英語を話すようになるのでしょうか？

Would it be weird if I replace the word “Filipinos” with “Filipin's”?

この”Filipinos”という言い方は”Filipin’ｓ”って置き換えると変ですか？

Japanese, American, Indian, Filipino, 

American and Indian endings are similar.

But Japan and the Philippines have different ending changes.

日本の、アメリカの、インドの、フィリピンの、

アメリカとインドは語尾の変化が似ている。

でも、日本とフィリピンはそれぞれ語尾の変化が違う。

どうしてなんだろうって思いました。

In other words, possessive?　　所有格？

Did I say that wrong?

私の今の言いかた変でしたか？

Are Philippine English textbooks written in Tagalog?

Many Japanese don't speak English. I think that is a problem with English education in Japan.

日本の英語の教科書は英語を日本語で説明しています。

フィリピンの英語の教科書はタガログ語で書かれているのでしょうか？

I have heard that the Internet is stretched across the intercontinental seafloor, but I think that must have been a lot of work.

Recently, while I was at work, there was a major accident at an intersection.

The other party disobeyed a traffic light and the accident was so bad that the airbag of the car went off, but fortunately no one was injured and I did not receive any major penalties.

最近、仕事中に交差点で大きな事故があった。

I am saying is also contradictory.

私が言っていることも矛盾している。

By the way, when I cannot remember the word “contradictory”, how can I explain “contradictory” in other simple English? I wonder.

ところで、「contradictory 」という単語が思い出せないとき、他の簡単な英語で 「contradictory 」をどう説明すればいいのだろう。どうなんだろう。

💬 Simple Ways to Say “Contradictory”:

  1. “They say opposite things.”
    　→（正反対のことを言っている）

  2. “These two things don’t match.”
    　→（このふたつは合っていない）

  3. “One thing goes against the other.”
    　→（ひとつのことが、もうひとつに反している）

  4. “They can't both be true at the same time.”
    　→（同時にどちらも本当にはなれない）

There is so much interesting content in Japan that can be enjoyed in Japanese that it is people away from the need to learn English.
日本には日本語で楽しめる面白いコンテンツがたくさんあるので、英語を学ぶ必要性がなくなってしまうのだ。

For lunch, I had tofu and natto.

Tofu and natto are foods made from soybeans.

Tofu is white and soft.

Natto is sticky and has a very strange smell.

豆腐と納豆は大豆から作られる食品である。

豆腐は白くて柔らかい。

納豆はネバネバしていて、とても変なにおいがする。

Therefore, natto is a food that people have different likes and dislikes.

なので、納豆は人によって好き嫌いが分かれる食べ物です。

They are probably good for health.

おそらく健康には良いのだろう。

Wouldn't that be a lot of work?　/ Isn’t that hard work?

それは大変な作業ではないですか？

But on the other hand, isn't that a lot of work?

しかし一方で、それは大変な作業ではないか？
